I'm an Attitude and Orbit Control Systems engineer based at ESTEC. I support the development of the satellite subsystem that ensures it points in the right direction for science, communications, power or manoeuvring to change it's orbit.
Working at ESTEC provides for great variety. One day you are helping design the concept for a mission to Neptune and the next day you are in a mission control room solving problems that may arise during the launch and early operations of an ESA satellite.
