JIP – Joint Interdisciplinary Project
The Joint Interdisciplinary Project, located in Delft (NL), aims to incorporate real interdisciplinary teamwork into any engineering master from TU Delft and Leiden University. About 300 students are taking part in this master elective course and, among the applicants for Telespazio’s case, 4 of them have been selected to work on CryoVoyage project. These students are coming from different Engineering masters: Aerospace Engineering (Spaceflight Engineering) Mechanical Engineering (Multi Machine Engineering and Systems control Engineering).
CryoVoyage
This project focuses on developing improved logistics solutions to enhance experiment lifetime, ensure mission reliability, and optimize energy use. Telespazio Belgium has a strong experience in managing experiments in LEO and can now count on fresh engineering minds to create the best solution to transport and store future experiments in a safe and controlled environment.
A valuable partnership
Telespazio Belgium has decided to strengthen its link with the different universities to provide new opportunities for Master and PhD Students to gain valuable experience by working on real-time project adding value to Space technologies and applications. In return, the company can enjoy a fresh engineering mindset to keep moving forward to the right direction. What the JIP is proposing is in total adequacy with Telespazio Belgium’s vision and we are more than happy to be part of this ambitious program!
