A very busy edition !
With 2,500 exhibitors from 47 different countries spread over 4 halls and the tarmac of Le Bourget airport, this 54th edition was impressive not only in its size, but also in the number of visitors it attracted! Hundreds of thousands of people, from trade visitors to the simply curious, took part in this event, which promotes Aerospatial in all its glory.
Relationships first
Our presence at this world-class event was beneficial in every way. The Operations department made excellent contacts to continue to excel in the various contracts we have, and the Sales and Marketing department was able, through the presence of Belgian partners around us, to give a boost to the materialization of future contracts and, cherry on the cake, our CEO personally received Ministers Dedonder, Dolimont, Borsus and Dermine, once again supporting our strong presence on the Belgian and Walloon economic market.
We're hiring!
But the event isn't all about pure business. Some of its visitors are also there to continue or start their careers in an economic sector that is booming on all fronts. Our team of recruiters was on hand to intensively promote the vacancies that will take us even further. The interest for these positions was high, some parents even asked us questions to help their kids choose their future studies.
So this exceptional week was very positive for us on all levels. We would like to thank AWEX and Skywin again for organizing this huge stand without a single hitch.
