One of our freshly on-boarded colleagues, working at the European Space Agency, ESA-ESTEC premises, Enrico Massoni got nominated as Nova 111 within the Energy and Engineering section. A true honor for him to see that his personal and professional path has been recognized by this prestigious Organization. “Being nominated as Nova 111 is truly a great achievement. Not only makes me proud but it also encourages me to do better and build something useful to society, rendering Science more real for people” Enrico mentioned. The Award ceremony was held in an outstanding venue in Milan, Italy, last Friday, February 2nd, 2024. Enrico describes the experience as unique and unrepeatable; his eyes still shine during the story. “Nova is about connections and networking, truly living each interaction you could establish. I felicitate cordially all the candidates, and especially those who have distinguished themselves as category winners, at the top of which the Supernova of the year sparkles. In fact, about the 140 people attending the ceremony, I only met naturally kind, intelligent, human-oriented people. Truly, I feel very proud having shared time and experiences with them and be among them.”
